Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 26, 2026
Summoner's Rift ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed by the AI Usage mobile application (the "App").
1. Information Collection and Use
A. Third-Party Account Credentials (Claude.ai / GitHub Copilot)
The App functions by checking usage statistics associated with your AI service accounts (such as Claude.ai and GitHub Copilot). To do this, the App uses an embedded browser (WebView) that allows you to log in directly to the official service websites.
- Local Processing Only: Your login credentials, session cookies, and usage data are processed locally on your device.
- No Remote Transmission: We do not transmit your account credentials or session cookies to our own servers or any third party. The App acts as a local bridge to display your usage statistics in the Android notification bar.
B. Google Account Data (Google Calendar Integration)
The App offers an optional Calendar Sync feature that integrates with Google Calendar to help you track when your AI usage limits reset. This feature requires your explicit opt-in and uses the Google Calendar API with the following scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar — See, edit, share, and permanently delete all the calendars you can access using Google Calendar
How we access Google user data:
- The App uses Google Sign-In to authenticate your Google account and obtain authorization to access the Google Calendar API.
- Upon enabling Calendar Sync, the App creates a dedicated "Claude" calendar on your Google Calendar account.
How we use Google user data:
- The App creates calendar events for upcoming AI usage limit reset times (e.g., "Claude: Session Reset", "Claude: Weekly Reset") on the dedicated "Claude" calendar.
- The App updates these events when reset times change and removes outdated events automatically.
- The App does not read, modify, or delete any user-created calendar events or any calendars other than the "Claude" calendar it created.
How we store Google user data:
- The App stores only the Google account email address and calendar sync preferences (such as the calendar ID and synced event IDs) locally on your device using Android DataStore.
- No Google user data is transmitted to or stored on any external server owned or operated by us.
How we share Google user data:
- We do not share, transfer, or disclose any Google user data to any third party.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to the Calendar Sync functionality described above.
Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance:
AI Usage's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
C. Device and Usage Data (Firebase Analytics)
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous data about how the App is used. This helps us improve the App's stability and performance. This data may include:
- Device type and model
- Operating system version
- Crash reports and performance data
- Aggregate interaction metrics (e.g., screens viewed, features used)
This analytics data is collected in aggregate form, does not include any Google user data obtained through the Calendar API, and cannot be used to personally identify you.
2. Android Permissions
The App requests specific permissions to function correctly:
- Internet: Required to communicate with AI service websites to fetch usage data, to interact with the Google Calendar API, and to send anonymous analytics to Firebase.
- Post Notifications: Required to display usage statistics (e.g., Session/Opus limits) in your notification status bar.
- Foreground Service: Required to periodically refresh your usage statistics in the background without you needing to open the App constantly.
- Google Account Access: Required only when you enable the optional Calendar Sync feature. The App requests Google Calendar access through the standard Google Sign-In OAuth 2.0 flow.
3. Data Storage and Retention
All data related to your AI service sessions and Google Calendar sync preferences is stored securely in your device's local storage (Android DataStore and WebView Cookies).
- If you disable Calendar Sync, the App immediately deletes all synced calendar events and the dedicated "Claude" calendar from your Google Calendar, signs out of your Google account within the App, and clears all locally stored sync data.
- If you uninstall the App or clear the App's data, all locally stored information is permanently removed from the device. Note that any calendar events previously synced to Google Calendar will remain unless you disable Calendar Sync before uninstalling.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal information or Google user data to third parties. Specifically:
- We do not transfer or sell user data to third parties, advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers.
- We do not use user data for serving advertisements, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
- We do not use user data to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the data processed by the App. Since all sensitive data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends in part on the security of your device. We recommend using device-level security features such as screen locks and device encryption.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Revoking Google Calendar access: You can disable Calendar Sync at any time from the App's Settings screen, which will remove all synced data. You can also revoke the App's access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Deleting your data: Uninstalling the App or clearing its data removes all locally stored information.
- Opting out of analytics: You can limit analytics data collection by adjusting your device settings or opting out of Google Analytics.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes.
